Atlantic Gums Corporation (AGC) is a United States corporation
and the only minority owned and operated business in the United States gum Acacia industry.
For over 18 years, AGC has served the crude Gum Arabic and processed Gum Arabic industries in North America and Europe. Unlike other companies in the industry, AGC was built to maximize control over the supply chain – from the farmers and local Gum Arabic markets in the Gum Arabic growing regions through the transportation/distribution process to the manufacturing and delivery of products to the end users.
Because over 75% of our workforce is deployed in the Gum Arabic growing regions of Chad and Nigeria, we at AGC have developed the expertise required to achieve high performance in that environment.
From the carefully selected and imported Gum Arabic by our employees in Africa, Atlantic Gums Corporation produces an extensive range of high quality nutritional or technological ingredients for the agro-food industries
The AGC line of processed Gum Arabic is manufactured in New Jersey in the
United States.
Throughout our process, Atlantic Gums Corporation maintains traceability of the quality of its products from its origins in Africa to the delivery of the material to the customer. Personnel in Chad and Nigeria are trained to identify the quality and different categories of gums harvested. This results in the processing of only the best quality gum Acacia for our customers.
